The iPhone has been out and about in the mobile market for over a year now, and already it’s had a bit of an upgrade both visually and internally to improve on an already stellar product by adding 3G networking capabilities. The result is the iPhone 3G, the second generation and another achingly cool Apple product that wants to take on all comers, whether its competition from the smartphone or music phone market.
The iPhone is even taking on the current generation of hand held gaming consoles. So have Apple bitten off more than they can chew, or is the iPhone 3G a benchmark mobile phone handset? Let’s look at some of the things that make the iPhone what it is.

The most impressive aspect of the iPhone on first viewing is its exterior design and styling, as well as the large 3.5 inch screen which is entirely touch sensitive.
Apple products are always balancing form and function perfectly, and the iPhone is no exception, with the new 3G version becoming the latest in a long line of Apple branded fashion accessories. That’s not to say that the iPhone is just a trinket, far from it. Its touch screen is arguably the best in the business, with multi-touch capabilities allowing you to depress multiple virtual buttons on the screen at the same time and also enhancing the web browsing experience that we’ll talk about a bit later.Read more
